About

Movement has always been central to my life. As a lifelong runner and cyclist, I understand firsthand the demands, goals, and mindset of endurance athletes. My passion for performance, combined with a strong foundation in science and clinical expertise, led me to specialize in helping active individuals move better, train smarter, and stay injury-free.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Penn State in 1991 and began my career running a fitness center, where I designed individualized training programs and performed cardiovascular testing. Wanting to deepen my clinical expertise, I returned to graduate school at Hahnemann University and completed my physical therapy training in 1994.

After relocating to Seattle to pursue an active mountain lifestyle, I continued to advance my education, completing a three-year orthopedic manual therapy residency and specialized training in pelvic health and TMJ dysfunction. As both a runner and cyclist, I have also pursued advanced training in running gait analysis and professional bike fitting, allowing me to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and performance.

I work extensively with runners and cyclists of all levels, from recreational athletes to seasoned competitors. Whether you are training for your first 5K, preparing for a marathon, dialing in your bike fit, or returning from injury, I focus on optimizing biomechanics, improving efficiency, and building durability so you can perform at your best.

My approach integrates hands-on orthopedic manual therapy, movement analysis, strength programming, and sport-specific retraining. I help athletes address overuse injuries, refine training loads, correct mechanical inefficiencies, and develop long-term resilience.

In addition to performance-focused care, I treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain. I also provide specialized pelvic health support for female athletes and treatment for TMJ disorders that may impact posture, breathing, and overall performance.

Outside of the clinic, you will often find me running, cycling, hiking, or strength training. These experiences continually shape how I evaluate movement, design treatment plans, and guide athletes toward meaningful, sustainable progress.
