Strength training and coaching with a physical therapist

One-on-one strength training and coaching for runners, cyclists and active adults who want to get stronger, train smarter and stay injury-free. $125 per hour.

Who it's for

  • People finishing physical therapy who want to keep building, so the injury doesn’t come back
  • Runners and cyclists who know they should be strength training but aren’t sure what to do
  • Active adults who want to start lifting safely, especially with an old injury or a joint that complains
  • Anyone training for something: a race, a big ride, a hiking trip, or just staying strong as the years go by

What makes it different

Most trainers stop at the edge of an injury. I don’t have to. I’m a physical therapist with 32 years of experience, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and I teach personal trainers. Your program is built around your body, your injury history and your goals, and if something flares up, I can assess it and adjust your training on the spot instead of sending you somewhere else.

  • One-on-one sessions, always with me
  • A program designed around how your body actually moves
  • Coaching on technique, load and progression
  • Training that fits around your running, riding and life

Performance assessment

Not sure where to start? A performance assessment is a full-body look at your joint mobility, flexibility, muscular endurance, strength and power. It shows where you’re strong, where you’re vulnerable, and what to train to improve your sport-specific performance and prevent injuries.
