Bike fitting from a physical therapist and certified bike fitter

A 60-minute fit that adjusts your position to your body, including its old injuries and limits, from a physical therapist, certified bike fitter and lifelong cyclist. $150.

What happens

  1. Hands-on assessment first. I test your joint mobility, flexibility and strength off the bike, because your body sets the limits for your position.
  2. On the trainer. Your bike goes on a trainer while you ride. I assess your posture and measure your joint angles (shoulder to trunk, trunk to hip, and knee angles) and how your knees track through the pedal stroke.
  3. Your fit. We work through what I found together, and you leave with a position that fits your body and recommendations for anything else to change.

Who it's for

  • Riders with knee, hip, back, neck or hand discomfort, or numbness, while riding
  • Anyone with a new bike, or riding more miles than before
  • Riders coming back after an injury or surgery
  • Commuters who want to ride comfortably every day

Why with me

Most bike fits look only at the bike. I’m a BikeFit Pro certified fitter and a physical therapist with 32 years of experience, so I can see how a stiff hip, an old back injury or a weak side changes what your position should be, and treat the problem if the bike isn’t the whole story.

What to bring

Your bike, your cycling shoes (and pedals if they come off), the clothes you usually ride in, and a note on what hurts and when.
